Ethel Lamb Burgers

Ingredients

  • 1 lb. ground lamb

  • Finely chopped shallot

  • Pressed garlic, to taste

  • Salt and pepper to taste

  • 1 egg

  • Finely crushed gluten free crackers, *1/2 c

  • 2-3 tsp freeze-dried mint

  • 1-1+ tsp dried rosemary.....mint & rosemary rubbed between palms and sprinkled over meat

  • 1/4 -1/2 c cubed goat cheese (or feta. ...preferably goat cheese)

Method

  1. Mix together/use wet hands and gently form into burgers.

  2. Fry or BBQ.

  3. Serve as a burger with  bun, and desired condiments. May make a gravy with drippings & bits from pan.

  4. Serve with garlic fries or Greek Lemon potatoes/salad.
